100 Root Chakra Affirmations

Keep yourself stable, grounded, and strong with these Root Chakra Affirmations.

Chakra affirmations are positive statements that we can say to ourselves in order to promote balance and healing in our chakras.

In this article, we’ve put together a list of 100 Root Chakra affirmations to help restore your inner strength and stability.

What is the Root Chakra?

The chakra system originates in Hinduism and Buddhism, and it is a part of the Vedic tradition. The word chakra comes from the Sanskrit word meaning “wheel” or “turning”

The Root Chakra is the first of the seven chakras. It is located at the bottom of the spine and is represented by the color red and associated with the element of earth. Known as the Muladhara Chakra in Sanskrit, It is the foundation of our subtle body so when this energy center is out of balance it can affect our entire energy body.

The Root Chakra governs survival instincts and our sense of security. When this chakra is in balance, we feel secure and grounded. We are able to meet our basic needs and feel a sense of connection to the world.

There are seven major chakras in the human body each associated with a different area of the physical and emotional self:

What Are Chakra Affirmations?

Chakra affirmations are positive statements that you say to yourself to clear and balance your chakras. They can be said aloud or you can say them silently in your head.

When practiced regularly, affirmations can help to create positive mental pathways and manage negative thoughts.

When our chakras are in balance, we feel healthy, happy, and whole. When they are out of balance, we may feel stressed, anxious, or even physically ill.

For example, if the Crown Chakra is imbalanced we may be lacking a spiritual connection, or if the Throat Chakra is imbalanced we may have trouble communicating our needs. If the Solar Plexus Chakra is imbalanced, we may feel insecure or lacking in confidence.

By using chakra affirmations, we can help to bring these energy centers back into balance.

How Do Chakra Affirmations Work?

Chakra affirmations work by helping us to focus on the positive aspects of ourselves and what we hope to achieve.

Scientific studies have found that positive affirmations can be a powerful way to boost mental wellbeing, reduce anxiety and alleviate physical pain. With regular repetition positive affirmations can reprogram the subconscious mind to undo negative thought patterns and promote a more positive outlook.

When we repeat these positive statements to ourselves, we open up our chakras and allow the universal life force energy to flow through us more freely. This helps us to achieve more balance and harmony within ourselves.
